Chapter Seventeen
Willow had been looking forward all day to tonight's session with Spike, but Buffy informed her before Psych102 that Giles had called a meeting for tonight. It seemed some new oogety-boogety was in town and Giles thought it might have to do with some old prophesy he'd read once upon a time and he needed them to look into it. A quick slash-and-slay wouldn't do the trick if there were bigger things afoot.
She was happily surprised when she entered Giles' apartment to see Spike leaning on the kitchen counter talking to Anya. He gave her a wink and motioned for her to come over as he kept his conversation going. Anya was telling him about a money-making opportunity she'd heard about through some of her demon friends: something about spell ingredients and dead demon entrails that made Willow nauseous. However, maybe Spike making money would be good. Then he wouldn't have to be hitting Giles up for cash every time he helped them out. He could buy his cigarettes and blood without resorting to extortion. That had to be good, right?
Spike held her hand as he finished his discussion with Anya. Anya finally turned to her and said, "I like your outfit."
Willow nearly blushed. She was wearing the fuzzy lilac sweater and tank top that Spike had once told her he liked along with a new lilac corduroy short skirt. She quickly said thank you and looked away, hoping Spike didn't suspect that she wore it on purpose because of him - even though she had.
Willow looked around to find Xander looking at her and Spike's joined hands. He didn't look happy. He didn't look like he was about to go into a rage, but she was sure he would have preferred it be Oz's hand she was holding. Or anyone's really, other than Spike's.
Well, Oz had left of his own free will and who she saw after his abandonment was none of Xander's beeswax. Spike cared for her and made her happy; shouldn't that be good enough for him? Thinking back on how much Xander had hated Buffy's relationship with Angel, though, she figured it probably wouldn't be.
She stopped looking at Xander and looked at Spike instead. He seemed to know what she was thinking and wrapped her in a comforting embrace. "Don't worry 'bout him, luv. He's dating an ex-demon himself. He's got no room to criticize."
That was true, but she was sure Xander wouldn't see it that way.
Giles started talking then and she forgot about Xander as she sat at the table where she had put her computer and listened to Giles talk about what it was he thought they may be dealing with.
An hour later they were researching, she on the computer and the others in books. Even Spike was helping because, as he had whispered in her ear, "Faster you get done here, faster I get you all to m'self." She couldn't argue with that - and extra help was always appreciated.
If only all the extra help were actually helping.
Anya had a Harper's Bazaar open and wasn't even pretending to help and Spike⦠was sliding his hand up the inside of her thigh under the table.
She jumped when Giles stood, reading aloud from some text he'd found that referenced the demon. Spike didn't stop. She tried moving her legs to get them away from him, but he just held her fast as he sat supposedly enraptured by Giles' words.
Giles went on, asking Buffy and Xander to look up specific entries in other books and Spike got bolder, slipping one finger and then two inside her panties. She should stop him, she really should - but she couldn't get him to stop no matter what she did anyway - and everyone else did seem to be busy.
Not moaning was the hard part as he circled her clit repeatedly, not quite touching what she wanted touched most. She squirmed a little, trying to get closer to his hand, and she felt rather than saw his smirk. She was afraid to look at him right now. Looking at him would show her the heat that was always in his eyes when he was with her like this and she didn't know if she could take that right now.
His fingers slid easier now, lubricated by her own fluid that was seeping onto Spike's talented digits. She wanted to hump his hand, scream at the others to leave - something, anything to bring her to completion quickly.
Spike was in no such hurry.
The others were talking now, excited about something and Spike pushed a finger inside her as his thumb finally moved on her clit. Her knees fell open wider of their own accord and her nails dug into her arms in an effort not to scream.
Just a little more…
Buffy and Giles headed to the weapons chest, not even sparing a glance at anyone else in the room - thankfully - and left as Anya grabbed Xander's hand and led him home for a quickie while Buffy and Giles saved Sunnydale from disaster. Willow assumed Xander and Anya said goodbye although she had no way of knowing for sure.
Thank the goddess.
Spike pulled his hand away, slid the chair back in one quick motion and was on his knees in front of her before she had time to even say "Eep." The crotch of her panties was pulled to the side and Spike's tongue was where his fingers had been. Circling, tasting, teasing - everything that made Willow crazed was heaped on her already over-stimulated nerves.
Willow moved on him, getting full satisfaction this time as he brought her to not one - not two - but three soul-stirring orgasms.
Her body hung limply across the back of the chair as Spike straightened her clothing and smirked down at her saying, "Thought they'd never leave."
"Yeah", was the best she could do, smiling languidly back at him.
They spent the next hour on Giles sofa; Spike taking his time now that everyone was gone. He teased her collar-bone, sucked her nipples through her bra and slid those talented fingers under her skirt once again.
All the while, he whispered sensual phrases about how he wished he could be naked and inside her. She'd tried to touch him, but he'd stubbornly refused her caresses, insisting that they'd lose the bet if she touched him right now.
"Only three more days," he promised. "Gonna lay you out on my bed like a banquet and have my wicked way with you. Everything I've been thinking about - dreaming about. Everything you tell me you want, we're gonna do it all."
Spike smelled the slayer then and sent Willow into the bathroom to straighten herself and he headed to the kitchen to heat some blood to calm his nerves. It was going to be a long three days.
Buffy and Giles arrived, quickly followed by Xander and Anya and they all listened to Giles's thrilling tale of how Buffy had saved the day yet again with her quick reflexes and preternatural instincts.
Xander had just ordered pizza when the doorbell rang.
Spike stiffened and pulled Willow onto his lap as Giles went to the door.
"What's wrong, baby?" she asked him, but just then, Giles answered her question from the doorway.
"Welcome back, Oz."
